Frêche relance le débat… Il veut atteindre 500 000 habitants, il lui en manque 100 000.
- Agglo de Montpellier (402 168 habitants en février 2008),
- Sète (83 089 habitants),
- Mèze (31 182 habitants),
- Lunel (45 280 habitants),
- Mauguio (38 095 habitants),
- Pic Saint-Loup (32 050 habitants).
